The short version

We collect what we need to run the service. We don't sell your data. We don't use third-party analytics. We're in beta, so we're being straightforward about what exists today.

What we collect

  • Account information — your email address and name, used for authentication and identification within workspaces.
  • Workspace content — documents, presentations, tasks, threads, and any other artifacts you create. This is the core of the product.
  • Usage data — basic server logs for debugging and keeping the service running. No third-party analytics trackers.

How we store it

  • Database — your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database.
  • File storage — uploaded files and assets are stored on Cloudflare R2 or AWS S3.
  • Email — transactional emails (verification, invitations) are sent through Resend. We don't send marketing emails.

AI and your data

Diameter uses AI (currently Claude by Anthropic) to power workspace features. When you interact with AI in Diameter, relevant workspace context is sent to the AI provider to generate responses. We don't use your content to train AI models.

What we don't do

  • Sell your data to anyone
  • Use third-party analytics or ad tracking
  • Share your content with other users (unless you explicitly collaborate in a shared space)
  • Use your content to train models

Beta data handling

During the beta, your data will be preserved to the best of our ability, but service continuity is not guaranteed. If we end the beta or make breaking changes, we'll provide a way to export your data. Database schema may change as the product evolves.

Data deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. We'll process deletion requests promptly.
